Welcome to AI Foo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, assessment tools, reports, and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using AI Foo.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Foo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AI Foo.

You must be at least 18 years old to use AI Foo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

2. Service Description

AI Foo provides an AI capability assessment and personalized reporting service. Our platform:

  • Offers a comprehensive assessment of your AI knowledge, skills, and practical experience
  • Generates a personalized report with your "belt level" (White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown, or Black)
  • Provides tailored recommendations based on your assessment results
  • Currently offers a free public flow with results snapshots, locked previews, and prelaunch/full-access follow-through features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. Payment Terms

AI Foo is currently operating in a prelaunch state for its standard public flow.

  • Free Assessment: You may complete the assessment and receive a results snapshot and locked preview at no cost.
  • Prelaunch Access: You may optionally provide your email to save your place for future full-report access tied to your assessment.
  • Paid Features: If and when AI Foo enables paid reports or other paid access, pricing and purchase terms will be presented clearly at that time.

When paid purchases are enabled, payments are expected to be processed through Stripe or another designated third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you may also be subject to that processor's terms and privacy policy.

Any future prices will be displayed in US Dollars unless otherwise stated and may exclude applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other governmental charges related to a purchase.

4. Refund Policy

Because AI Foo's standard public flow is currently prelaunch, there is no general live checkout in that flow at this time.

  • If paid digital reports or other paid features are enabled later, the refund or no-refund terms applicable to that offer will be presented at the point of purchase.
  • If you experience technical issues accessing any report or purchased feature, contact us at admin@aifoo.app and we will work to resolve the issue.

We encourage you to review the free preview experience before making any future purchase decision.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on AI Foo, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of AI Foo or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

Your Reports: The personalized reports generated for you based on your assessment responses are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may:

  • Download, print, and share your report for personal reference
  • Use the insights for your own professional development

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any report or content from AI Foo
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from reports
  • Systematically extract content to create a competing product or service
  • Use AI Foo content for training machine learning models without explicit written permission

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

AI-Generated Content: The reports and recommendations provided by AI Foo are generated using artificial intelligence (AI) based on your assessment responses. While we strive for accuracy and usefulness:

  • The content is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
  • AI Foo reports are for informational and educational purposes only.
  • Our assessments and reports do not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, career, or otherwise).
  • Always consult with qualified professionals before making significant decisions based on your report.

No Guarantee of Results: Your actual skill development and career outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will lead to specific results.

Service Availability: We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to AI Foo at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

  • Attempting to abuse, manipulate, or circumvent our assessment or reporting systems
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
  • Attempting to access other users' data or accounts
  • Engaging in fraudulent payment activity
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of AI Foo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
